I've Been Tagged

Apparently, a game of tag is currently going on in the blogosphere - and I have been caught! In a better attempt for you to get to know me better I'm to "reveal" five things about myself that you otherwise wouldn't know from reading this blog. Here goes:

According to the rules, I am now supposed to share 5 things you may not know about me. And then, I am supposed to tag 5 other bloggers.

1. I LOVE food. I love to shop for it, cook it, eat it, read about it, and watch tv about it. My boys say I have "food issues". They are probably right, but there isn't much about food I don't like, except the fact that not all foods are calorie free.

2. I did not start out in education when I went to school. When I was in H.S. (during the 80's) I wanted to go to college, get a high-paying job, and make a Lot of $$. (Kind of the Alex P. Keaton mentality). But as I made my way through 1.5 years of college I didn't think I was cut out for the business world so I changed my major to Elem. Education.

3. I am the Webmaster and voting Board member of WYSA (Windham Youth Soccer Association). I was appointed to this position this past August to finish out the term of the previous Webmaster. I am hoping to be elected to the post this January for a three-year term.
I have also coached several of the soccer teams my boys have played on in both spring and fall soccer. Take a look at what I have done with the website by clicking this url: http://www.windhamyouthsoccer.com

4. About 80% of my clothes I purchase at Eddie Bauer. When I go to that store, it is not unusual for me to already be covered "head to toe" in their clothes. Luckily, my family supports my habit, giving me nearly $300 in gift certificates this past Christmas for the store.

5. I love going to Disney World. I have taken my boys to WDW when they were 3 and 5 years old, 5 and 7 years old, and when they were 8 and 10 years old. My neice is getting married this April on the beach in Tampa, so it looks like the family will be flying down to Florida again this April. We will definitely spend a day or two at WDW while we are there.

So now that you have read five things you would not know about me otherwise, consider yourself tagged. You need to now create a posting on your blog listing 5 things about yourself that readers would not know otherwise and tag 5 more bloggers.

Christine Albert, Betsy Wandishin, Laura Gurley-Mozie, Mike Nolette, and Alice Barr.
Have a great day.
